First of all, present it to God in prayers. Pray continually for His favor, grace mercy, protection, provision and as the spirit leads.

UAE's visa is one of the easiest(if not the easiest) visa to get. Provided you don't have any criminal case with them. You are good.
Then you process your visa. There are three types of visa. The most common type is the 3months visa. And this costs from 150k-300k depending on your agent. (Beware of scammers). If you are coming with employment visa or 2years residence visa that a travel agent promised you....
its usually around 800k-1M When your visa is out, you have 2months to prepare and do everything you want in Nigeria. The visa expires after 2months. Your 3months starts counting the day you enter UAE.
So after you might have processed your visa, (it takes approximately 5days to process after your full payment). Then you book your flight. The earlier you book to your date of departure, the cheaper the flight.
So the preparation begins.Pls come with foodstuffs.I mean enough. You can come with anything except "palm oil".P.S: they also don't accept any liquid substance, but you can keep them in your box.Not inside your "hand luggage"
You don't really need to come here with "all" your clothes. Just something light and decent. No one is looking at your clothes here. All you just need is to look presentable. The way you dress is the way you would be addressed.
To the issue of BTA (money you'll spend). Please come with enough money, like 250-300k. Reasons would be stated.
That 300k is just 3,000AED(Arab Emirates Dirhams) which is enough to get you a toyota Camry (pencil light) here. Naira is very useless. So that big money, na change.
So, let's continue. You'll pay rent. The cheapest rent here is 300AED i.e 30k per month. And that would get you a place in somewhere like Maiduguiri, Zanfara and the likes. So if you want a place in Lagos, PH, Abj, Calabar and the likes you'll have close to 50-70k.
Places like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and the likes. I'll advise you get in exposed places for easier access to jobs.
Nigerians have spoilt this place. So in order for you to get a job faster or before the expiration of your visa, you might need to go through agents, and they collect money. From 1,000AED i.e 100k upwards(lesser at times). And you'll get a job with a 2yr work permit.
Most of these jobs comes with accommodation, feeding and transport. At all; at all na him bad, accommodation and transport would be included.
Any Nigerian certificate, go for attestation. Drivers can come with their Nigerian license. But you would still go through their own training here. They would format Naija's driving skills and input their own.
Also, if you can, learn Hindi, Arabic and French. Its a big plus.
P.S:  UAE is not a country where you can live, its just a place where you can hustle for like 5years and leave for a better country. Depends on you tho. Forget all the pix you see on SM. LoL. 😂😂😂
The Emiratis are very nice. But due to our #nationality, they have started been hostile to us. When an Emirati is eating, all his workers eats with him. From the same bowl.
But you see those Indians and Pakistans, fear them. A "white" Indian beefing a "black" Indian. Imagine what they would now do to an African. Or let's say a Nigerian. You can't avoid them because they are the ones that head most businesses here. More like second citizens.
If you know you want to continue with alcohol, you'll need to get a license for it. Dunno how much it costs. If you buy an alcoholic drink without a license, you won't be given receipt. So if police catches it with you, you are OYO.
If you can, bring #agbojedi. Honestly, you'll thank me for this later. But don't put water yet, you'll put water when you get here.
When you get here, you'll see people doing the strangest of jobs for the money. Don't judge them. Imagine an "Okada" dispatch rider earning like 150-200k per month.
I'm not saying job is like sand here, but from my experience, if you put that energy you have been using to look for job in Naija, and you put that same energy here, bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you would definitely get something good.
But I'd advise you take up any reasonable job as soon as you get here. Before your visa expires. You should be able to decipher if you should take this job or not. When I took up my present job, within a week, I got 3 different offers from different offices.
If you have face caps, pls bring them. If you can even get #Alinco's cap, it would be better. Sunshades would be needed too.
I wish you guys all the best. Big thanks to @TravelBrothers_ @SamuelAdjayi @fataibusayo
P.S, if you want to come, please wait till late July or August. Ramadan has crippled the economic activities. Getting a job now is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.
