Miscarriage is common. Very common. & already hard to talk about.

It may also require medical care (ex D&C) that women may now fear to seek
Because I had D&C, I was able to ask for something probably done rarely with miscarriage—I asked for pathology/chromosome analysis. & actually got an answer that provided closure. Don’t underestimate how “lucky” that makes me feel.
and, for the record, having some closure from a clear answer and knowing "this fetus was never going to be born alive" does NOT make a miscarriage any easier to experience
