I often torture myself by listening to LBC to try and understand the mindset of others.
As many of you probably agree its shows are generally anti-Labour and virtually always anti Corbyn.
I HAVE A STORY TO TELL ABOUT EDITORIAL. 1/x
LAST NIGHT 13-MAY at 10.30 PM. I WAS PHONED BY AN LBC RESEARCHER.
She asked me 'would you like to ask a question on LBC tomorrow morning'. OK ! Great 😄 EXCEPT the conversation got a bit weird. 2/x
I put together a question over a pleasant longish chat and then she honed the question for me into something more 'punchy' and slightly removed from other areas I wanted to ask about.
3/x
I agreed to ask the question - with a mind to change it when they phoned me this morning - but the caller / researcher this morning just called me to rehearse the exact question that they wanted asking. 4/x
I don't know whether they are preparing question for their guest to have answers to (which is my suspicion)
or
They are try to hit the guest with hard hitting questions. (Which I don't think they were)
5/x
I decided to not go ahead with my question because I don’t want to be part of this sort of set up.
I know what LBC stand for and am always suspicious of their motives.
So when you’re listening to this DECEIT and the clever, annoying adverts making them Millions £££££
6/x
Millions of 💴 £
That they have reportedly put millions through (legal) tax avoidance schemes via inter company “loans” charged at big interest. 7/x
Government with fiat currency can create new money to fund the public services and investments.
This is done through central banks which issue new currency to finance government spending. 1/x
Economic Growth: investing in public services such as hiring more NHS nurses stimulates economic growth when the government invests in healthcare it not only improves public health but also creates jobs, in turn generates more tax revenue and boosts the wider economy 2/x
Multiplier Effect: government spending can have a multiplier effect on the economy for example hiring more nurses increases their income which they spend on goods and services further stimulating economic activity. 3/x
Seventy-five years ago, Zionist militias tore through Palestinian villages, massacring the villagers and expelling those who remained alive, to clear the way for the creation of the state of Israel.
The IDF were formed from proscribed terrorist groups. The Haganah, Irgun etc.
The IDF was born out of the amalgamation of three Zionist terrorist groups. The Haganah, the Irgun and the Stern Gang. Palestinians had never committed any atrocities against the British, but Zionist gangs killed more than 1000 British men and women.
In April 22, 1948, the Haganah terrorist gang occupied Haifa and killed and displaced its Palestinian residents.
In the video, we see Haganah gangs wandering among the ruins, in addition to the displacement of a residents who left Haifa on a boat.
@poppyeh The Policy Exchange is at the heart of working to manipulate public opinion and influence government policy on a number of issues. Many powerful political and media figures are involved with the Policy Exchange.
@poppyeh 1/x The Policy Exchange is part of the Stockholm Network, a working group of European market-oriented think-tanks.
Tim Montgomerie and MATTHEW ELLIOTT described Policy Exchange as part of the infrastructure of the conservative movement in Britain.
Policy Exchange’s influence on education policy in the UK, including through a regular column one of its staff was writing in the TES - The Times later had to apologise for the FAKE NEWS they were creating.
#ItWasAScam doesn’t deny that there were some cases of anti semitism
#ItWasAScam doesn’t accuse Jewish people of lying
#ItWasAScam is about the media misrepresentation of the subject
Like this attempt to deceive by Ayesha Hazarika👇🏻
2/x #ItWasAScam included so much distortion!
This article is from THE GUARDIAN was written by Helen Lewis in 2018!
All areas I’ve highlighted related to right wing anti semitism with the conviction of Neo Nazis... it had NOTHING to do with Labour members
Yet look carefully 🧐
3/x #ItWasAScam
If you read this Guardian April 2019 article without knowing that Tracy Oberman was referencing right wing antisemitism from 2014 - you might think she was just talking about Labour
1/ THREAD with some numbers on Sunak’s 5% to 7% pay increase to public sector workers
There are over 5 million public sector workers including doctors, nurses and other employees
If the average wage was £30,000 then 5 million x £30k is
£150,000,000,000
HERE’S THE ISSUE
2/ Therefore an average 6% pay would cost the government
£9,000,000,000
(150 * 6% = 9)
Okay 👍 that sounds “a lot” but my argument here is that it’s not enough, not just for the employees cos without an inflation pay increase the ECONOMY WILL SUFFER including Private Sector
3/ I want to discuss the issue of “taxes”
If you don’t give public sector workers a wage increase then your tax revenue is static... whilst the cost of other things increases
Between 25% and 40% of the £9 Billion would comes back immediately as taxation
