In the "Rocketman" movie, Elton's shows at the Troubadour get about ten minutes of screen time. The filmmakers (Elton is one) (smartly) discard many facts about the shows, because it would get in the way of the reverie. So if you want to know what really happened, here it is.
On the Internet, grown men are angry that Elton John, who executive produced his own biopic, chose to dizgard facts and chronology in a fictional representation of his life story. How dare he get the facts of his life wrong while fictionalizing it!
