I personally think your doc is a jerk and I’ve never liked him, but you seem to have some rapport with the fucker, so call his goddam office and go in.

If he’s a dick about weight, remind him that there’s 0 chance you’re losing any if you’re too tired, too hungry & too sore.
I cannot do this for you.

It’s your damn body. I’d really like it to be working for you, too.

It’ll probably mean taking meds.
Also probably a rotor rooter of your sinuses.
Maybe a year of working with a registered dietician if that’s what it takes to get Dr Fucker to listen.
Yes, men too get chronic illnesses.
Men also feel horrible in their skin.
Yes, all the tools of body shaming come into play, with a bunch of others because male culture is full of pure asshattery & malice.
It won’t go away by ignoring it.

And I too am frustrated saying this same thing over and over every 4-6 weeks.
It’s not a moral failing.

I know communicating with words is low on your skill set.

(It’s not Type II. We have been tracking his blood glucose for literally years, and especially when he started getting the vomiting & nausea attacks. He sometimes dips to the high 70s. Never goes above 110.)

(I think Dr Fucker WANTS it to be Type II for gloating.)
If it’s any consolation: yo, I’m a professional. And I can’t get my boy to think it through and listen when I say write your shit down, document the hell out of this & stop being defeatist & stupid-stoic.

This is an Olympic level challenge with the force of the entire culture.
