People keep saying that Lambda School’s graduation rate is 50%. That’s so, so wrong.

That stems from CIRR’s graduation rate stats, which considers a student “not graduated on time” if they utilize mastery-based progression. Utilizing that is a GOOD thing. It’s a bad measure.
Just one of the many, many ways where trying to fit Lambda School into traditional measures doesn’t work, and why we’re always nervous at regulators and others trying to fit a round peg into a square hole.
Our real graduation rate is somewhere around 85%, depending on which cohort you look at.

85% for a no-upfront-tuition, entirely online, nine month long course is *very* good
