I'm passed a random number of followers, for those that aren't bots, here's what I'm about. A thread.
I joined Twitter because I'm a songwriter, and I was told that I should have a social media footprint. I didn't really use it. Because I am a bit geezer-y, I mostly was on facebook prior to 2016 election.
I lived through the complete madness of 2014-2016 in FB. In which any thoughtful thing was met with complete trolling. I was a Sanders fan, so I lived through pro Sanders then viciously anti HRC stuff. I was mad, but still voted HRC.
I am MD barred lawyer and when I shifted to twitter, I followed @TrueFactsStated. When he was sued by troll Cassandra F, I said I would run the defense (we won). I was dropped into the hot troll wars as soon as my name was announced. They called my friends; cased my house.
In that defense, I also learned the positive side of twitter. We had a behind-the-scenes group that helped with fact research and kept us all motivated. Many people stepped up to donate to the cause. (We also had a mole in our group chat --lesson learned).
When Cassandra's case was dismissed, we realized we had a force to be reckoned with. Some Claude support suggested we form a Political Action Committee to support our efforts at putting up billboards to strafe Gaetz and others. Thus @maddogpac was born, @marykerry and others
Mad Dog Pac did awesome things, although it eventually got to be too much for me to handle and I passed the compliance and filing work on to others. But I met so many good people along the way ... especially @spicyfiles ... who I wish was still here.
I have tried to carry some of her analysis on -- although I can never match her analysis and energy. I am so thankful of the many accounts I learn from constantly here - @LincolnsBible @LouiseMensch @911CORLEBRA777 @ericgarland @20committee @lauferlaw @gregolear @JenKirkman
Not to mention the accounts that have had my back when the darkness and the trolls have come. I won't mention either of those accounts, but I know who they are.
My bottom line: I try to base my takes on the facts. I am a patriot to bitter end. I try not to get too caught up in the panic that is daily twitter. I am an empath, and I care about y'all for your humanity. End Thread.
