I asked Rex the classic sexism-bias puzzle the other day to unexpected results. The “riddle” goes: A man and his son are in a car accident and brought to the hospital. The doctor examining them says, “I can’t operate on this boy. He’s my son.” How is this possible?
Rex: Is it a gay couple and it’s the other dad?
Rex: Is it the father’s father, and he’s referring to his son, not grandson?
Rex: Is the surgeon a woman?
Rex: Which one is the right answer?
Me: None of them is the right answer! The "surgeon is a woman" is the classical answer, but you came up with three great alternatives!
Anyway, the future.
