Back when I lived in America we didn't kick a guy when he was down. Not even if he was on the other team.
It wasn't a perfect country but I liked it better.
2. I was grateful that Eric Swalwell dropped out - he was just a confusing factor. He was never going to be President in this decade. He had a point, and he made it, and he said, "Done. I'm out."
3. So I put a harmless platitude on his announcement, "You didn't fail..." blah blah, because that's what you do as part of a civilized society, and it brought out the #MAGA #GOD #CHRISTIAN mob with blood in their eyes.
4. "This guy is down. KICK HIM TO DEATH."
One of the reasons I try to read all my replies / interactions is because if a #MAGAt replies to me I silently block it. But usually, although I don't respond in any way, I visit the bio. Well, of course, that's where you block, but...
5. I make a point of reading what this person or software routine says about itself, observing followers, reading some tweets...
Many of them are human. This is chilling.
6. A probable real human (several hundred to a few thousand followers, realish or meaningful avi, realish tweets) who mentions #GOD or (less often) #JESUS is pleased as punch to define "failure" for me (and him) and just be nasty, rude, and insulting to a total stranger -
7. Just run over and kick him while he's down.
I would prefer to move back to America. Yeah, it needed work. Everything does. But this place sucks.
I grew up in a Presbyterian church in Kansas City. I don't know what these #GOD people are but I know what they're not.
8. They're not civilized. They're not America. She died.
