GOP Holds Voter-Registration Advantage in 2019-2020 Races for Governor and President governing.com/topics/politic…

Confirms what I've been showing you for two years: FL, NC, PA, IA, NH, NM have seen voter reg shifts toward Rs ranging from good (NM) to spectacular (FL/NC)
2) “Republicans have been gaining,” notes Aubrey Jewett, a political scientist at the University of Central Florida (UCF). “That does go against the narrative that Trump was going to lead the party over a cliff.”
3) In FL and NC, GOP gains relative to Ds have been significant. Rs actually had great gains in NM as well, but the hurdle there is still 90k votes in a small state. In NH, Rs have picked up net 7,000 or more since 2016 vs. Ds. (Trump lost by 1,500)
3) In IA, after a strong early surge, Rs settled down into a small gain since 2016 but a solid advantage overall.

4) In AZ, the GOP raced out to a big lead (150,000) in 2017, then Ds ate into it some. It's now around 145,000.

5) This does no good if Rs don't vote R.
