3. The proposal Ivanka endorsed yesterday allows new parents to take a $5,000 LOAN and then pay it back through increased taxes over the next 10 years.
6. BTW, if you are interested in ACTUAL ISSUES like paid leave and not just horse race politics about polls (that don't mean anything at this point anyway) you might want to check out my newsletter, Popular Information
1. Lead Left, a super PAC created on 4/24, purports to stand "against MAGA extremists."
It has spent $3M+ in Democratic primaries.
But it's funders and motivations have been secret.
Until now.
It's a GOP dirty tricks operation.
🧵
2. Popular Information found that Lead Left is linked to Caleb Crosby, a Republican operative. Crosby is the treasurer of the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), the primary super PAC of the House GOP.
In Texas, Lead Left spent 900K supporting Maureen Galindo in the Democratic House primary. Galindo, a sex therapist, pledged to turn an ICE detention facility a “prison for American Zionists.”
Her campaign less than 11K. (She lost last night.)
1. Trump has repeatedly promoted an online casino, Stake, on social media after its founder and owner, Bijan Tehrani donated $1 million to Trump's Super PAC, MAGA Inc.
According to multiple state regulators, Stake is an illegal operation.
2. Trump publicized Stake alongside the UFC match being held at the White House on his 80th birthday, June 14. He posted AI-images featuring himself, UFC CEO Dana White, and the Stake logo on 4/9, 5/8, and twice on 5/20.
3. Stake users in the US play traditional casino games like slots and roulette. The company, which is based in Cyprus, claims it is a “safe and free gaming experience.”
But its all a ruse and its really indistinguishable from gambling.
Don Jr. and Eric launched Trump Moblie in June 2025 and promised a "MADE IN AMERICA" gold-plated Trump phone by August.
They started accepting $100 deposits for pre-orders.
11 months later, the Trump phone has not materialized.
2. A $499 “MADE IN THE USA” phone was always a fantasy. There is only one phone that is currently assembled in the US. It costs $2000 and “has specs that would have been more impressive a decade ago.”
3. Trump Mobile executives now say the phone will not be "MADE IN THE USA" and instead describe the Trump phone as “Proudly American” and “designed with American values in mind” -- two phrases that mean nothing
3. According to the ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC), payments to third parties were supposed to resume on April 30. ICE has contracted with a private firm, Acentra Health, to process reimbursements.
But April 30 came and went, and still, nothing is being processed.
1. A member of the U.S. Special Forces was just arrested for using classified info to turn a 400K profit on Polymarket.
The company is CELEBRATING this scandal as evidence that "the system works."
But Polymarket's story doesn't add up.
Let's dig in.
🧵
2. Gannon Van Dyke, part of the Special Forces unit that captured former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, was indicted for misappropriating classified information to turn a 400K profit on Polymarket.
1. A tiny California tribe, the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, just donated $2 MILLION to MAGA Inc, Trump's Super PAC.
I decided to find out why.
It's an illustration of exactly how business is done in Trump’s Washington.
Follow along for details.
🧵
2. The Yocha Dehe operates the Cache Creek Casino Resort. For a decade, the Yocha Dehe has been in a legal dispute with the Scotts Valley tribe, which is trying to build a casino about 60 miles away.
3. For Scotts Valley to build their casion, they need a technical determination by the Interior Department that “restored lands” — property with both a historical and modern connection to the tribe.
That enables them to get the green light for gaming.
