The United States has a loneliness Problem

A social alienation problem

An economic marginalization problem

A wealth hoarding problem

A mental health problem

The problem is not “gun violence”.

It’s that American culture has increasingly become suicidal
47% of adult Americans report feeling lonely

Loneliness leads to depression, anxiety, disconnect from others

How’s that related to violence?

Socially connected and happy people aren’t likely to want to hurt and kill other people

The Suicide is at its highest in half a century

Men disproportionately kill them selves more than women (but it’s gone up for women as well)

The Americans public is largely pessimistic about the future

“Happiness” in women has been declining for decades

The stock market might be up, but wage growth is stagnant

Wealth inequality has increased

The mega rich have gotten richer

The poor have gotten poorer

Men are increasingly marginalized

They die sooner

They commit suicide at higher rates than women

Boys underperform academically compared to girls

More men abuse drugs

More men feel left behind

This isn’t a problem? Men should “get over it?”

Identity politics have become tyrannical

People’s self worth is characterized not by their character, but by their race or sexual orientation

Nothing is true and there are no facts because every gets to “speak their truth”

Slave morality dominates, values are inverted
Violence is good for business

The media had tacit interest in being divisive and inflammatory

Companies virtue signal for profit to bolster their bottom line
That the “American dream is dead” has become commonly accepted

1) A child’s chance of earning more than his or her parents has plummeted from 90 to 50 percent.
2) Earnings by the top 1 percent of Americans nearly tripled, while middle-class wages have been basically frozen for four decades, adjusting for inflation.

3.) Self-inflicted deaths — from opioid use and other drug addictions — are at record highs.
4) Nearly one in five children in the US are now at risk of going hungry.

5) Among the 35 richest countries in the world, the US now has the highest infant mortality rate and the lowest life expectancy.

“The world is ending” rhetoric is increasingly popular

Enjoy the decline

Climate change will kill us all

-real problems are ignored in favor of band aid solutions

How many lives have paper straws saved?
It shouldn’t be mysterious why the United States wants to harm itself

Why it has people who are radicalized

Why it has people who want to die and want to detach

These problems have all been growing for decades

take the guns if you want. The suicide & attacks will continue
