A social alienation problem
An economic marginalization problem
A wealth hoarding problem
A mental health problem
The problem is not “gun violence”.
It’s that American culture has increasingly become suicidal
Loneliness leads to depression, anxiety, disconnect from others
How’s that related to violence?
Socially connected and happy people aren’t likely to want to hurt and kill other people
Men disproportionately kill them selves more than women (but it’s gone up for women as well)
The mega rich have gotten richer
The poor have gotten poorer
They die sooner
They commit suicide at higher rates than women
Boys underperform academically compared to girls
More men abuse drugs
More men feel left behind
This isn’t a problem? Men should “get over it?”
People’s self worth is characterized not by their character, but by their race or sexual orientation
Nothing is true and there are no facts because every gets to “speak their truth”
Slave morality dominates, values are inverted
The media had tacit interest in being divisive and inflammatory
Companies virtue signal for profit to bolster their bottom line
1) A child’s chance of earning more than his or her parents has plummeted from 90 to 50 percent.
3.) Self-inflicted deaths — from opioid use and other drug addictions — are at record highs.
5) Among the 35 richest countries in the world, the US now has the highest infant mortality rate and the lowest life expectancy.
Enjoy the decline
Climate change will kill us all

How many lives have paper straws saved?
Why it has people who are radicalized
Why it has people who want to die and want to detach
These problems have all been growing for decades
