A Winnetka cop who stopped me on Friday without cause, who wouldn’t leave me alone after I asked if I was free to go and retreated into my car (I’m homeless), suggested I go live in an Arlington Heights shelter and “work myself back up.” My response was that her comment was very
misogynistic, as she never would have told a man who was car-jacked to walk away, and ride a beater bicycle 20 miles to work himself back up. I am pro-se, defending my property rights in Winnetka, albeit not as well as I could if my biased judge had not stripped me
of all my rights and assets. The cop admitted she was questioning me because I filed a FOIA that day.
Is this the beginning of regular police harassment like I had in the past? It was almost like she was trying to provoke my service dog, who was asleep in the passenger seat. Who
ever heard of a cop questioning a person from the passenger side instead of the driver side? Was she hoping my dog would bite or at least growl when she stuck her hand in the window to make me take a brochure about... waif for it..., domestic violence. Glad my dog ignored her,
kept her head down, appeared to be sleeping.
