I adore Theodore Roosevelt. He was our first & last “cowboy President.” I love the movie with Candice Bergen & Sean Connery called the “Wind and The Lion.” The Rizouli (Sean Connery) was curious as to the rifle Roosevelt used. “A WINCHESTER!” Candice Bergen says defiantly.
2/ This brilliant movie is also a warning about Islam for America, even from the 1900’s. The Rizouli, an Arab Berber & leader of his people said this in the movie, (paraphrased): “You (America) are powerful, but like the drops of water from that bucket of water, you are spilling
3/ it wastefully, and Islam is lapping up the drops.” In other words, we were taking much for granted. Until our immigration laws were changed in 1952 by the McCarran-Walter Act, we had refused Arabs, Islam and Muslims. We now have #Germanys issues. And they will not be
4/ getting better. Our best weapon is our 2A. In any case, this is a beautiful movie.
