#BOP @TheJusticeDept

A few hours later, on the overnight shift, only 18 workers were guarding a jail with roughly 750 inmates, according to records released by the Bureau of Prisons. Ten of the workers were on overtime.

Epstein’s death came after he started to realize the limits of his ability to deploy his wealth and privilege in the legal system.

Epstein feared life behind bars, according to people who knew him. #Coward

A few years ago, in his East Side mansion, he had a mural painted that
shows a photorealistic prison scene, with barbed wire, correction officers and a guard station. Mr. Epstein himself is portrayed in the middle, and he told a visitor earlier this year that he wanted the mural to remind him of what could await him if he was not careful.

The staffing problems at the jail are emblematic of a larger shortage of correctional officers in federal jails and prisons across the country @TheJusticeDept

These facilities have been dealing with rising levels of violence and other safety problems as the Trump admin has
curtailed hiring in its quest to shrink the government

Some prisons have been so pressed for guards that they have forced teachers, nurses, cooks and other support staff to step in.

The CIA also has a manual on insurgency. fas.org/blogs/secrecy/…

And it’s absolutely fascinating to read. It’s not a big manual. And it was written, I’m sure, to help the U.S. government identify very, very early stages of insurgency

And the manual talks about three stages.
The first stage is pre-insurgency. That’s when you start to have groups beginning to mobilize around a particular grievance. And it’s oftentimes just a handful of individuals who are just deeply unhappy about something. And they begin to articulate those grievances.
And they begin to try to grow their membership.

The second stage is called the incipient conflict stage. That’s when these groups begin to build a military arm. Usually a militia. And they’d start to obtain weapons, and they’d start to get training. And they’ll start to recruit

“Hot Gulag Summer,” held at the nondescript Capitol Hill town house leased by the Conservative Policy Institute, advertised Jan. 6, 2021-themed cocktails, including the “Capitol Attaquiri,” “Insurrection on the Beach” and the “Mostly Peaceful Mojito.” grid.news/story/politics…
It's all fun and games to the traitors

“We’re all going to be sent to the gulag eventually,” the invitation read. “We might as well party and get to know each other before we are all ‘reeducated.’”
Donald Trump himself has endorsed the group’s work, boosted its fundraising and even donated $1 million to the group from his PAC in 2021.

The network has broad reach and keeps an eye on future elections: CPI helped found and support the election monitoring nonprofit run by

Op-ed slander. Amber Heard is a liar per the court.

She destroyed his career with the op-ed on purpose per the court
Depp proved all statements were defamatory, they were about him directly, they were false statements. She acted with malice.

Against Amber $10M
Punitive $5M

Heard's counter claim:
Waldman made false statements and with malice

Against Depp: $2M
Punitive: $0
So Johnny is being punished only for what his lawyer said to the Daily Mail

John Durham is a sham. He has only charged 3 people since 2019, this is the first to get to court, and it's an acquittal!!

The two that are left, one has pleaded guilty the other is waiting to get to trial.
the pace of Durham’s investigation, which began under Trump and has already lasted far longer than Mueller’s 22-month probe, has been widely questioned – including by Trump.
Igor Danchenko, a Russian national who was an associate of former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, was charged with five counts of making false statements to investigators about sources of information he provided to Steele.

SumOfUs researchers also reported experiencing homophobic and racial slurs in Horizon World and said they witnessed gun violence on the platform.

Did you really think Zuck would keep you safe in a fake world, when he can't keep you safe in the real one?
At Meta's shareholder meeting, a proposal was introduced to complete a third-party assessment of "potential psychological and civil and human rights harms to users that may be caused by the use and abuse of the platform" and "whether harms can be mitigated or avoided,
or are unavoidable risks inherent in the technology."

However, the proposal was voted down.
So Meta's shareholders are not interested in keeping people safe in the Metaverse. Ok, thanks for letting the world know.

In 1994, Clinton signed into law the ban on assault weapons and large-capacity mags (LCM). The law — which grandfathered in an estimated 1.5M assault weapons and 25M LCMs already owned by Americans — was in place for 10 years until @GOP let it lapse.

During the ban — 1995 to 2004 — there were about 19 incidents per year

Two key provisions can be especially effective. “State laws requiring a permit to purchase a firearm, which includes a background check on all purchases, are associated with 60% lower odds of a mass public
shooting occurring,”

“Bans on large-capacity magazines are associated with 38 percent fewer fatalities and 77 percent fewer nonfatal injuries when a mass shooting occurred.”
