I witnessed something I've never ever seen this weekend. I'm a car guy and any chance I get to go test drive, check and research cars... I do it.
This weekend I wanted to go test drive a Hellcat. I decided to head up to Phoenix on Saturday afternoon
When I arrived, I couldn't find parking. The entire place was full of vehicles. There were also cars circling the lot looking to park. It was very weird.
Finally, I found a spot and I walked towards the used Hellcats.
I looked at these cars for 15 minutes without being bothered. Salesman on golf carts whisked past without saying one word. Not even hello. All were in a rush.
Again, I stood in amazement as people whisked past me. Nobody said a word.
"what do I have to do to talk to a salesman."
She tells me...
"Please give me your name and number and we'll call you once someone is free. We've got a 15 minute wait."
A WAIT. FOR A SALESMAN!?
I've never seen anything like it. I asked her if they were having a special sale? "Nope, every weekend has been like this."
As I mentioned this particular dealership is in a rough part of town. I would say 80-90% were Hispanic or African American.
I also noticed the particular youth of the group. Mostly late 20's to mid 40's.
He grabbed the keys for the Hellcat and told me that there was another person negotiating on this car already.
I didn't care, I just wanted to drive it.
We got talking politics and at first he didn't want to but once he did...
If the Democrats heard this man talking, they'd have called him a white supremacist. Lol!
The wealth and easier credit have FINALLY made it into the lower socioeconomic levels and I got to witness firsthand the action.
There is no recession. This is just the beginning for our Nation.
I'll be holding out for a Ferrari when the time comes. 👌👍😊🇺🇸
