1/ This is the story of "the story" that @dailykos tried to hush up - when a white male Contributing Editor on staff harassed an accomplished Black woman, @ninaturner , with disgusting sexist tweets.

@dailykos @ninaturner 2/ Tweeter is named Armando Llorens, @armandodkos, and is listed on the dailykos.com/staff/ page. Story is remarkable because @dailykos presents itself as a progressive site fighting on behalf of women and poc.

@dailykos @ninaturner @armandodkos 5/ When a black man, Progressive First, tried to report the story of Armando's sexist tweets to the Daily Kos community, his diary was deleted by the mods and he was put on a timeout. The question is: why?

@dailykos @ninaturner @armandodkos 6/ Others reported the story later. One diary is now high on the rec list (a sign of approval from the community). In the comments, some actually dismiss the events as “Armando being Armando”.
