Thread: Harold Finch Comments on Obama’s Role in #Spygate

1. Harold Finch lives in The Library on Telegram these days. He does yeoman’s work in posting key information for researchers and other interest parties:

2. Every now and then, he posts a thread that needs to be promulgated to a wider audience. This is one of those. Enjoy:

<Begin Finch’s thread>
3. So, the big media names are starting to loudly ask the question: what did President Obama know about #Spygate , and when did he know it?
4. Not just media people either – Devin Nunes, Lindsay Graham and other prominent Republicans who are diligently investigating #Spygate are asking that question, too. The goal here is to prove Obama knew about and at the least authorized it.
5. That makes #Spygate an outgoing PRESIDENT trying to overthrow the INCOMING GOVERNMENT of the newly elected president. That is the biggest crime in American History, and the legacy media have been AWOL on this story from the very beginning.
6. In fact, we have learned that the NY Times have been purposely pursuing a Russian collusion narrative that they concocted for over two years now!

6A. “We built our newsroom to cover one story, and we did it truly well,” [Dan] Baquet [NY Times Executive Editor] told the assemblage. “Now we have to regroup, and shift resources and emphasis to take on a different story.”
6B. Think about that statement for a minute.
6C. Baquet says he “built our newsroom” to cover a story which turns out to have been based on a hoax spread by Democrat Party operatives and used by a corrupt Obama administration to spy on innocent American citizens while attempting to prejudice a presidential election.
6D. Had the Times actually covered the back half of the Trump-Russia story, in which the abuses by the Obama and Clinton camps turn out to have been the meat of the thing, it might have been justified to “build our newsroom” around it.
6E. But of course that’s not what Baquet did.

7. But many people aren’t asking the right question: what, if anything, *proves* Barack Obama knew, *and authorized* #Spygate and the #coup attempt on President Trump?
8. The answer to that question is a document. There is a document that proves beyond reasonable doubt that Obama knew AND authorized everything that was done.
9. Jeff Carlson’s piece laid out #Spygate in detail, and he does a masterful job highlighting that CIA Director John Brennan was responsible for receiving all of the illegally obtained Five Eyes #FVEY spying data on Trump & his team.
10. And then Brennan passed it not just to the #FBI but to the entire intelligence community. Here’s Jeff’s article:
themarketswork.com/2017/04/04/the…
11. How do we know that? Because Barack Obama signed an executive order explicitly enabling that to happen immediately after the election.

12. There is only one thing that Executive Order was meant to do or would be useful for, and that is to enable Brennan to propagate the illegally obtained spying data to all 17 agencies of the IC.

12A. The National Security Agency is now able to share raw surveillance data with all 16 of the United States government's intelligence groups, including the Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, ….
12A1. … Department of Homeland Security and Drug Enforcement Administration.
12B. These agencies are able to submit requests for raw data pertaining to specific cases, and the NSA will approve or deny each request based on its legitimacy and whether granting access would put large amounts of private citizens' information at risk.
12C. Previously, the NSA would filter information for specific requests, eliminating the identities of innocent people and erasing irrelevant personal data. That's not the case any longer.
12D. The rule changes open up the NSA's trove of raw data to other intelligence agencies, making it easier for authorities to notice trends or spot troublesome communications.
12E. However, activist groups including the American Civil Liberties Union argue that relaxing the rules around sharing raw data threatens the privacy of innocent US citizens, according to The New York Times.
12F. Attorney General Loretta Lynch signed the new rules on January 3rd, after Director of National Intelligence James Clapper approved them in December.
12G. The FBI and other agencies use the systems laid out by the FISA Amendments Act and Executive Order 12333 in different ways, as noted by The New York Times.
12H. The warrantless surveillance program enabled by FISA allows FBI agents to search that program's database when investigating ordinary criminal cases.
12I. Meanwhile, the 12333 database is limited to agents and national security analysts working only on foreign intelligence or counterintelligence operations.
12J. Either way, if an agent sees evidence of an American committing a crime, that information is forwarded to the Department of Justice.

13. Why the last-minute change in the intel-sharing rules in the dying days of the Obama regime? Why to facilitate the Russia hoax and #Spygate, of course!
14. Brennan was receiving the information directly from the Director of Britain’s eavesdropping agency, GCHQ, and this EO made it possible to share that info across the IC (and for subsequent leaking by Obama/Clinton embeds).
15. As an aside, you will remember that the GCHQ director, Robert Hannigan, abruptly resigned on 23 Jan
16. Also remember that there are no such things as coincidences! He knew the jig was up and that his role in the UK part of #Spygate would be uncovered.

17. There is no way that Barack Obama signed and issued that executive order without being fully briefed and fully aware of the full implications of what he was authorizing.
18. Here’s the kicker that proves that to be true: the Peter Strzok – Lisa Page texts, in particular the one that says ‘the President wants to know everything we’re doing,’ and also the one that says ‘the White House is running this.’

19. <end of Finch’s thread>

I will add a bit of additional commentary: Barack Obama has some ‘splaining to do – as do his White House political operation, senior national security team, and DoJ, who were at the heart of the #Spygate scandal.
20. I hate to even use the word “scandal” because this series of activities associated with #Spygate is the greatest collection of crimes against a US president in American history.
21. And we can only pray that AG Barr and US Attorney Durham will hold prosecute Obama and his whole clique to the fullest extent of the law!
22. The fact that even legacy media types are being to ask a few tentative leading questions about what happened when and what Obama knew about it is a good sign.
23. It means that they know the hammer is about to fall – including the release of associated DECLASSIFIED information long withheld from public view. It will be epic, especially watching Obama make excuses for his perfidy! ///The end.
