ಕೋಮುವಾದಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವಾಗ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಎದುರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ನಿಲುವು. ಆದರೆ ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಕೋಮುವಾದಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ನಾವು ಖಂಡಿಸಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಆರೋಪಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಖುಷಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತು. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ತನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿಕ್ಕಲು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಹೆದರಿರುವಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಖುಷಿಪಡಿಸಲು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಧಾರರಹಿತ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ದೇವೇಗೌಡರ ರಾಜಕೀಯದ ಆಟಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನೋಡಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ನನಗೆ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಜೊತೆ ಮೈತ್ರಿಗೆ ಸಹಮತ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನಿಜ. ನನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಜೊತೆ ಮೈತ್ರಿ ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಇಷ್ಟ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿರಬಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡೆವು.

ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ. ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲ ಶಾಸಕರನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲರಾದರು. ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಕಳೆದ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದು ನಿಜ. ಆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡರು, ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ? ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಎದುರಾಳಿಯೇ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಯಾರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು?
ನಾನು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಅಪಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ನಾಯಕರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದವನು. ಈಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮುದಾಯವರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ, ದೇವೇಗೌಡರನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ವಿರೋಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತೇನೆ? ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಪಕ್ಷವೇ? ತಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಎಂದು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡುವ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದವರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕಡಾ 90ರಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ಗೌಡರು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಈಗ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಚ್ಚೇಗೌಡರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಅವರು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳ್ತಾರೆ.
ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ, ಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ. ಕೆಂಗಲ್ ಹನುಮಂತಯ್ಯ, ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ಕೃಷ್ಣಬೈರೇಗೌಡರವರೆಗೆ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದ್ದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್. ಗೌಡರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ?
1996ರಲ್ಲಿ, 2004ರಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತು ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಾರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಏನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿವಯರೇ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
ಈಗ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆರೋಪಗಳ ಸುರಿಮಳೆಗೈಯ್ಯಲು ಕಾರಣಗಳೇನು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ತಿಳಿಯದಷ್ಟು ನಾನು ದಡ್ಡನಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೆಲ್ಲ ಷಾಮೀಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನೇನಾದರೂ ವಿರೋಧಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂಬ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಂದ ಗೌಡರು ಈಗ ಹೊಸ ನಾಟಕ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಬಗೆದವರು ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು. ಆಗಿನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ್ ಕೇಸರಿಯವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಹಳೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಜೈಲಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದವರು ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರ ಹಳೆಯ ಆಟ.

I invite @BJP4Karnataka MPs, MLAs and leaders to join during the protest to raise our voice for the State’s Rights.

We are staging protest at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar on February 7 to safeguard the interests of the state.

We are committed to honouring the trust and opportunity bestowed upon us by the citizens of the state. We anticipated that the Union government would adhere to the principles of the federal system, and we have been awaiting the fulfilment of the commitments made in last year's budget. The state government is inviting all parties to join the protest to demand justice for Kannadigas. We are protesting to ensure that our concerns are heard by the Union Government.

The Union Government had announced to provide Rs 5,300 crores to the Upper Bhadra scheme in the last year's budget and they have not released a single rupee so far. They have not released anything for drought relief either.

This is not a political protest by the Congress Party against the BJP. We are protesting to highlight the unfair treatment by the Union Government, urging all Indians to take notice of this injustice.
Under the 14th Finance Commission (2015-2020), Karnataka received 4.71% of the tax share, which was reduced to 3.64% by the 15th Finance Commission (2020-2025). This 1.07% decrease resulted in an estimated loss of Rs 62,098 crore for Karnataka over five years. To compensate, the 15th Finance Commission recommended a special grant of Rs 5,495 crore for Karnataka in the interim budget, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman subsequently declined.

Additionally, there were recommendations for Rs 3,000 crore each for lake and water body development and peripheral ring road projects. Altogether, Karnataka missed out on a total of Rs 73,593 crore.
Despite our criticism that GST was unscientific, the Union government went ahead with its implementation. Before GST, our state's tax collection growth was at 15%. The Union Government promised that GST would not only increase tax revenues and central grants but also offered assurances of compensation for any potential losses. However, this compensation was discontinued in June 2022, after just five years. This cessation has significantly impacted our ability to achieve a 15% tax collection growth rate again. We have appealed for the continuation of this compensation, but the Centre has yet to make a decision on this matter. As a result, we continue to face unjust treatment under the GST regime.

.@CMofKarnataka position has become a 'Payment Seat' for @BJP4Karnataka.

The allegation by Basanagouda Yatnal about the demand for 2500 CR to make him CM is a serious issue. Only investigation will reveal the truth.
If the investigation is not conducted, it only implies that @BSBommai has accepted to have paid crores of Rupees to become CM.

He will not be able to continue as CM on Moral grounds.

I urge @CMofKarnataka @BSBommai to abide by High Court order & immediately withdraw the order issued by Minorities Welfare dept directing minority educational institutions.

There is an interim order by High Court regarding Hijab issue. The court has said that the order is applicable only in those schools where school welfare committee has prescribed uniforms.
