So lemme tell y'all the story of how I ended up not using my Engineering degree😄

It was early 2017. I'd just come back from my 6month I.T. One of my mentors told me that for my first 10years of civil engineering practice, I shouldn't expect confam money...I said maaaa???😂😂

Meanwhile I had this coursemate who used to travel to Lag and ABJ to price land. Me dey price jean, you dey price land...Alaye wetin you dey do abeg?
Him: Na forex oh

A close friend of mine also told me one time that his brother made $1k that week
Me:

Ahh, all I'd heard before about forex was terrible stories, always involving someone that lost his life savings. But well at this rate with civil engineering, I might not even get to have life savings 😭

Immediately I was done with my exams, I went to meet his brother to teach me

He showed me the app to trade with; metatrader4. I got the app and everything was looking like ching chung lee😂
He taught me how to use it, and he told me to practice with $3k demo money on the app.

Fam, I was on fire. By the end of the next day, the $3k was over $5k. I was untouchable😂
Na so I con open one trade, go sleep. When I woke up, I met $0 in the app's trading account. The whole $5k gone.

My eye clear.
Apparently, I'd been trading recklessly from the very beginning without knowing, hence my outrageous profits. These profits, coupled with greed, encouraged my bad trading habit till it caught up with me, and I lost everything.

Now I understood why those people lost their life savings; because they didn't learn how to trade professionally before jumping into it

Thank God mine was demo money, not real money. So I looked for someone to learn from and I found this man; Adam Khoo. He's a professional forex and stocks trader and he's worth $1.3bn.

Learning from him, I found out that I could actually make those types of profits I was making that day with the demo $3k, but it had to be from safe professional trading, not trial and error like I was doing.

His free course was limited, so I checked for his paid courses. They all added up to $5k😭
My village people didn't want me to leave this engineering 😭

All the good courses and mentorships I saw online were expensive, so I just kept practising with demo money on metatrader4 till this year when I discovered Frankie FX Online Academy.

It was 2hrs of Whatsapp classes every weeknight for 6 Weeks, plus mentorship after graduation. First week was free; a chance to see the value for myself and decide if I wanted to pay for the remaining 5 weeks. The mentor had 11 years of experience.
