There are multiple mini civil wars going on in the USA with extreme polarization fueling each side.
The entire country appears divided into multiple camps.
Whatever unity may have been found in the past appears to be lost to them forever.
Trump fuels the hate in the USA by taking sides & constantly blaming.
Trump could almost cause a fight in an empty room.
His belligerent attitude is typical of the type of psychopathic troublemaker who endlessly causes others to fight among themselves.
The NRA & White Nationalists are prime instigators of division fueled by fear.
The @CIA also makes its money by fueling fear & hate internationally.
And how many others in the USA find constant chaos lucrative?
War is good for business they say...
The USA lectures the rest of the world anytime it sees some behavior it disapproves of.
How many of you feel its own behavior has been exemplary?
Do native Americans, the Japanese, Latin Americans, the Vietnamese, the Afghans, the Iraqis, the Syrians?
The USA is not the place to start if you’re looking for a society at ease with itself.
It is just about the last possible place you would look to.
The gun violence, drug use, racism, cults, crime & a broken political system...
Are you kidding?
Americans who escape their country for a while come across as warm, friendly folk, interested to see places & meet people far from America’s shores.
They reflect the v. best of the USA.
Sadly others, particularly their leaders, reflect the v. worst.
The world needs the USA for the skills of its best people.
Many problems face humanity, the chief one being human-caused climate change.
The world needs to come together to tackle it.
But America’s leaders continue to spread divisive hatred abroad.
The Trump administration personifies the worst of America.
It relentlessly pushes division, splitting people & nations apart instead of uniting them as most of us feel ought to be occurring at this perilous time in our history.
The USA is better than this.
Currently the hate quotient is arguably higher than it has ever been, both directed inward & outward.
Trump is at the epicenter of the current waterfall of hate that is drowning out all movement toward the unity needed now.
The current foreign policy of the US government is uncompromising in its aggressive stance toward all nations not bowing to its command.
It’s actions against China, Iran & Venezuela are particularly unconscionable in their delivery of ever more hatred.
Both major parties in the USA have indulged in hateful lies concerning Russia in recent years.
Both support sanctions against Russia for things they claim the Russian state did for which there is not one bit of solid proof. Only speculation & assertion.
If individual Russians wanted to help Trump get elected president it was because they liked his statements about improving relations between the USA & Russia.
This was limited to largely ignored Facebook ads.
Does anyone recall seeing even ONE?
The generation of hate in the USA needs to stop if there is any chance of diplomacy abroad & civilized behavior at home.
Listening more & asserting your own rightness less would help.
Good manners & mutual respect go a long way.
Ultimately the people of America have to decide.
If you don’t like the current level of discourse, change it.
Admonish Trump for it.
Refuse to assert only one side of any argument... look deeper, listen more &... always question the rhetoric of hate.
