And they want you to believe Iran is the aggressor in the region
Israel is now attacking Lebanon, Syria and now Iraq with increasingly regularity, and of course this is all done with a nod of approval from the US.
This is hilarious, apparently the first Israeli drone that crashed in Beirut was brought down by people throwing stones at it, according to Al Jadeed.
I don’t know why this video is loading weird, sorry 🤷🏻♀️
Israel has had a busy week bombing its neighbors. Such a peaceful country.
Somehow we are supposed to believe Israel is a victimized nation surrounded by mean Arabs. The headlines tell a different story.
Hassan Nassrallah says the Israeli “drones are not merely an aggression of our sovereignty. They are an act of violence. It becomes our right from now on, we shall respond to the surveillance drones in the Lebanese skies, we will down them!” m.facebook.com/rania.masri/po…
Nasrallah on Israel’s attack on Syria: “Netanyahu - you know we are not joking & we were never joking. We said if you attack our comrades, we have a clear commitment and I shall remind the whole world of our commitment - if Israelis kill any of our comrades, we shall respond”
Israel is playing a very dangerous game. They can only carry out these unprovoked acts of aggression so many times before the other side is forced to respond. Eventually they will have to respond, no actor will allow so many attacks without retaliation.
Israel is begging for a war.
Israel is at it again, this time attacking the people who defeated ISIS. Think about that. Israel wants you to believe the people who fought and died fighting ISIS are your enemy
Israel has reportedly struck Lebanon again, this time targeting Palestinians.
If a war breaks out in this region, it will have been provoked by Israel, which in less than a week has bombed Syria, Lebanon and Iraq multiple times and no one seems to care aljazeera.com/news/2019/08/i…
Israel bombs 3 middle eastern countries & US media coverage reads like an Israeli press release, whitewashing Israel’s behavior as “a significant escalation of Israeli efforts to contain the expansion of Iranian influence in the region” washingtonpost.com/world/middle_e…
IT’S IRAN’S FAULT!
No one questions the insane Israeli claim that they can bomb anything anywhere they perceive as being allied w/ Iran. Not that the laws of war ever apply to the powerful, but wow, they’re reserving the right to bomb wherever unprovoked.
About the Israeli bombing of the PMF base in Iraq, Israel’s position makes no sense. It’s framed as Israel targeting “Iran backed militias” but they are targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces whose primary objective is to fight ISIS, not Israel.
The PMF is not an “Iran backed militia”. It is an institution of the Iraqi state, so an attack on the PMF is seen as an attack on the Iraqi state.
The PMF soldier who was killed in the Israeli strike on al Qaim was in charge of logistics and was involved in the anti-ISIS battles in west Anbar. Ten thousand people attended his funeral. That’s who the Israelis killed due to their delusions about Iran.
It makes zero sense that a base in Iraq that belongs to the Iraqi army would pose a threat to Israel. It’s also difficult to believe Israel would strike Iraq without a green light from the US. The US is only hurting itself bc Israel and the US are seen as being one.
As for the Israeli attack in Syria, the Syrians say Israel hit a place housing Shia paramilitaries that train the Syrian army in their fight against Sunni extremists.
The Israelis (and Americans) do NOT understand that the main enemy for these different Shia forces that they demonize is currently the more urgent threat of sunni extremism. Of course they still oppose Israel, but Israel isn’t the priority at the moment.
But if Israel keeps getting in their way and attacking them, eventually these groups/states will have no choice but to respond, as is their right, in which case Israel is bringing it upon itself and creating the delusional threat that used to exist only in its imagination.

1/ Let’s be clear about which side you’re on if you oppose Venezuela’s elected govt: ISRAEL’S SIDE
I’m getting angry responses to my Venezuela reporting from ppl who purport to be pro-Palestine yet repeat lies about Venezuela promoted by the same media justifying genocide on Gaza.
🧵
2/ Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, who is currently behind a violent coup attempt, loves Israel.
In 2018 she wrote a letter to Israel’s Netanyahu begging him to launch a military intervention against her country’s socialist government telesurtv.net/news/opositora…
3/ Here is Venezuela’s U.S.-backed opposition leader Maria Corina Machado promising to re-establish the Venezuelan embassy IN OCCUPIED JERUSALEM
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah is speaking now, you can watch with English translation here: presstv.ir/Live
Nasrallah says that the enemy is wrong to think that killing our leaders and women and children would make us back down. On the contrary. Martyrdom of these leaders gives us more momentum, he goes on to list examples over the decades.
Nasrallah implies that Israel intentionally targeted civilians in Lebanon this week, but adds this is a war, soldiers fighting soldiers, fighters killing fighters, it's normal in war. We are in a real war, in a battle against a savage enemy supported by the US. They target us where they can, we target them where we can.
This reminds me of how white supremacists historically painted black and brown men as rapists to justify lynching them.
Palestinian women are coming out of Israeli prisons saying they were threatened with sexual assault and worse. Meanwhile some of the most horrific claims made by Israeli officials and their supporters have thus far no evidence to back them up.
It is an insult to the survivors of sexual assault to use it for propaganda to justify genocide while covering up for what Israeli officers do to Palestinian women.
All the people who participated in this racist genocide apologia will be remembered poorly.
Never forget how we were lied to about Gaddafi giving viagra to African mercenaries to rape women, all to justify destroying Libya.
Never forget all of the black men and boys who were imprisoned and lynched in the US over false claims they raped OR whistled at white women.
This is an old and familiar script meant to conjure up support for BOMBING AND STARVING PALESTINIAN BABIES.
Has CNN’s Dana Bash expressed any concern about the genocidal statements of Israeli officials? How about the premature babies who Israeli officers let starve to death and then decompose after destroying their hospital?
Hassan Nasrallah is emphasizing that the Oct 7 Al Aqsa Flood operation was 100% Palestinian & the secrecy of it even from the rest of the resistance axis guaranteed its success. Seems to be meant for those speculating Iran and/or Hezbollah were involved.
He affirms "for both friends and enemies to recognize that the decision to resistance is led by the leaders of the resistance. The Iranian gov has no oversight over its decisions or its leaders." A message to those calling the different factions Iran-controlled proxies.
Nasrallah repeats his observation, made long ago, that the Israelis are weaker than a spiderweb and now the Israelis have come to believe this after Oct 7.
just posting some of the comments I think are worth highlighting.
Something to keep in mind as we feel helpless watching this nightmare play out is that it has exposed the most powerful army in the region.
Despite all the carnage Israel has inflicted on Gaza, it hasn’t made any major military advances despite its clear military superiority.
The Israeli military is far weaker than we thought. It cannot respond easily to resistance operations carried out by militants living in a death camp without serious help from the U.S. And even then it relies almost entirely on dropping high tech weapons on civilians.
So far Israel’s invasion of Gaza has consisted of several failed attempts at infiltrating the strip as deep as they wanted to. Palestinian defense forces, despite all of the challenges and hardships of operating from inside a death camp, have put up a stiff resistance.
Today’s talking point lecturing Palestinians seems to be about the optics of armed attacks on settlers going about their daily lives, that doing this is morally wrong, makes it harder for Palestinians to gain international support & easier for Israel to call them terrorists.
First, Israel calls Palestinians terrorists no matter what they do. When they peacefully march they are gunned down and called terrorists. When they shelter in their homes they are bombed without warning & called terrorists. When they advocate boycott they’re called terrorists.
Palestinians existing is considered terrorism to Israel. It’s time to drop this obsession with caring how the Israelis refer to the people they murder every single day.
