here’s what will really get you about the whole bret stephens episode - do you honestly believe this is the first time he’s emailed somebody’s boss while brandishing his lofty job title

if not then the question becomes how many random critical people did he squelch in his quest to live an Internet life free of all criticism?

what stephens did is not in the same orbit as sexual harassment or assault but it stems from the same fountain: a bunch of entitled fuckin assholes using their perch to indulge their basest needs and take what they want from people who lack the means to fight back
