The Word of God says, his purpose is to steal from us, to destroy us, and to kill us!

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
There is a field of land mines, so to speak, laid in front of us, and only as we walk step by step with Him will be able to navigate it safely!
But, don’t despair beloved — He promises He will guide us and tell us each step to take as we seek Him, and trust Him!
False prophets prophesy the things that make them popular in the eyes of those to whom they’re speaking! They will have a message that appeals to fleshly desires — A message that tickles the ears of the hearers!
Listen to this warning given by the LORD through Ezekiel about prophets who prophesy lies!
These are called pillow prophets, and they use seduction to appeal to the people! It will not go well for these false prophets!
The Word of God says they prophesy out of their own heart — not the heart of the LORD!
Ezekiel 13:1-3,10,20,23
And the Word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy,
What causes the LORD to look upon a person with favor? The LORD looks for those who have a heart that is perfect toward Him!
2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.
When the LORD searches the earth, will His gaze stop on us?
Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD!

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
There is a time to speak — And a time to be silent!
Ecclesiastes 3:1,7
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: [7] A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.
How do we know when we should speak, and when we should be silent?
Our words are very important! Did you know beloved, that we will answer for every idle word we speak? Our own words will justify, or condemn us! What a sobering reality!
Matthew 12:32-37
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Is there something in your life you aren’t willing to let go of? Some area that you hold back from completely surrendering to the LORD? Some sin that you just can’t give up?
Beloved, the LORD desires complete surrender from His children!
Matthew 16:24-26
Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
It’s easy to love those who love us; to be kind to those who are kind to us, and to give blessings to those who give blessings to us!
But, what do you do when you are attacked; when unkind words are spoken to you, or about you, or when you are cursed?
The test comes when we are angry, wounded, or hurt! What comes out of us then?
We read in Isaiah 53 about what Jesus would suffer unjustly!
Isaiah 53:4-10
Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions,
