WTF?!?! 2,246 medically preserved fetal remains found at the home of former (deceased) South Bend abortion doctor. He lost his license in 2015 after performing an abortion on a 13-yr-old. He had performed abortions on girls as young as 10. via.fox59.com/orPqB via @fox59
@FOX59 Two immediate questions come to mind. 1) Why was he preserving them rather than disposing of them? That's a LOT to preserve. 2) Were these poor children rape victims or trafficked victims? My God. Just thinking out loud.
@FOX59 I did a quick dig on this just to get a little more info. First, the home where the fetuses were found, was in Crete, Illinois. They state in the article he used to practice at Women's Pavilion in South Bend. Maybe so, but that's not the name of the place he lost his license at.
@FOX59 His home in Crete has 4 registered sex offenders very close by. These are good size homes with decent parcels. He is registered to a company called the Friendship Family Planning Clinic, which was located in Gary, IN. THAT is where he got into trouble.
@FOX59 This company was registered back in 1999. So I looked up the company and found an article about it from 2015. nwitimes.com/news/local/lak…
@FOX59 Here's where it gets strange. The clinic was run under that assumed name (above) and registered in 1999. It was run under J.W. Goethe, Inc. Both registered to the Dr. at that address in Gary. It shows dissolved in 2003, yet he lost his license there in 2015.🤔
@FOX59 I don't know how he came up with the name J.W. Goethe, Inc., but in doing a search, this is what floods the search results. It's an interesting read, and yes, parts are a tad disturbing. britannica.com/biography/Joha…
@FOX59 From 1983 until at least 2007 he was a licensed Osteopathic Physician, which means he was licensed to practice the full scope of medicine and surgery in every state, plus more than 65 countries.
@FOX59 This is an incredibly disturbing read about this doctor performing tens of thousands of abortions. southbendtribune.com/news/local/sta…
@FOX59 Whereas all 3 clinics he had in Fort Wayne, Gary, and South Bend closed. He owned 2 buildings right next to the clinic in Gary. One purchased in 1993, and the other in 2002. They are still in his name. I sure hope they are searching those buildings as well.
@FOX59 There are a few other notes to mention, but I need to further verify some details. One of them is that there is a female with the same last name listed as a registered nurse to his home address in Crete, IL. She is 19 years younger than him.
@FOX59 And again, whereas he may no longer be operating in Fort Wayne, IN, he still owns (now deceased) an office building there.
@FOX59 This doctor named his company after J.W. Goethe. I highly recommend reading what this man he idolized was all about, as these ties run deep, and dark. This leads me to believe he was likely running experiments on the fetuses. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johann_Wo…
@FOX59 I am finding this hard to believe that his wife had no clue that over 2,000 fetuses were stored, "floor to ceiling," in their garage. "She has no idea how long they had been there and no idea why he put them there. You could barely walk in there." chicagotribune.com/suburbs/post-t…
@FOX59 This is why I find it difficult. The garage is attached to their home. She was a registered nurse in IL dating back to 1995. She had an IN license from 1995 until at least 2007. She was registered in FL from 2010-2015. Curious. But she had no idea they were in her garage? 🤔
@FOX59 It all really makes me wonder what might be stored in the two buildings he owned (still in his name) right next to the Gary, IN clinic, which I noted above in this thread. I sure hope they have gone through those as well.
@FOX59 Of course, news sources aren't digging up and talking about his real estate, only where he worked. And they are failing to mention his wife is/was a registered nurse for decades. Why would they? That would be actual journalism.🙄
@FOX59 Small correction. I just looked up the expiration dates of his wife's RN licenses, and they are all still active in IL, IN, and FL.
@FOX59 Kindly unroll this @threadreaderapp. Thank you!
@FOX59 @threadreaderapp Documentation shows that the fetal remains were taken from abortions performed between 2000-2002 in St. Joseph County, IN. The remains have been moved to that county and IN AG Curtis Hill is heading investigation. wfyi.org/news/articles/…
