I think the BEST thing to happen yesterday is that more people on the Sanders team are now pushing back on that “essentially the same” narrative regarding the differences between Sanders and Warren. This, at a time where it’s increasingly clear that we need to.
These are a few of the things that I saw being posted:

1: Sanders did show up for Standing Rock protestors. Warren did not, instead boxing support for the pipeline workers to continue to work, which would destroy Native land (and our) water supply.

2: Sanders will not receive corporate cash in the primary nor in the general. Warren has already taken corporate cash via a prior election cycle, and will accept corporate cash in the general.

3: Sanders has a workplace democracy act. Meanwhile Warren, after failing to reach a collective bargaining agreement with her campaign staffers, shut that down. The media of course, ignored this.

4: Sanders is for eliminating ALL student debt and ALL medical debt. Warren is for eliminating some student debt and has released plans to cancelling any of the current medical debt.

5: Sanders is for Medicare for All under a single payer system. Warren is for various options towards a Medicare for All type system, with private insurers. Warren has not committed to M4A on her website.

6: Sanders is for a national rent control program. Warren thinks it’ll only work in some states.

(Note: Rent in the US has gone up while wages have not. You cannot afford rent on a minimum wage in any state—not including roomie situations)

7: Sanders has voted for 0 of Trump’s military increases. Warren has voted for 2 of Trump’s military increases— at one point giving more money than Trump asked for.

(Note: There is reason to believe Warren would not decrease MIC)

#Sanders2020 #NotMeUs #Warren2020
8: Sanders, ideologically is a Democratic Socialist, pushing for Social Democratic reforms. Warren declares herself a “capitalist to her bones.”

(Note: Warren will likely push small reforms to the neoliberal structure, not change it)

#Sanders2020 #NotMeUs #Warren2020
9: Sanders wants to ban fracking. Warren believes it should stop for a bit, until it’s determined when it can begin again.

(Note: Warren, while admits the threat posed by Climate Change— takes the same “minor reform” route to it as everything else)

Feel free to add / make corrections. Also, under individual tweets, post links for peoples further reading. I need to get out of bed now 😬🙄💃🏾
I Also want to note that @grumpybirdieS has been saying that Warren would be the Bernie spoiler for awhile. It is clear that she’s the preferred candidate since Biden’s support slips, Warren’s rises & the media is actively pushing her.
As always, great video by @KyleKulinski on why Sanders is *OBJECTIVELY* the better choice between him and Warren. Includes other reasons, that my thread does not (#Sanders2020 #NotMeUs #Warren2020):
