1/I see a lot of people freaking out over Netanyahu getting the nomination to form the government from President Rivlin. This was totally to be expected and does not change the fact that Bibi does not have a big enough bloc to form a government. In fact this is exactly what Gantz
2/ wanted. For Bibi to unsuccessfully bang his head into the wall for the next month while he is weakened by the failure and the hearing he faces on October 2nd. The thinking is that his failure will create an impetus in the right to cut Netanyahu out and form a unity government
3/ without him. This is (in my opinion) likelier than Bibi actually forming a government. So even though this seems like dramatic new, it actually means little. Netanyahu still has little chance of surviving and gets weaker every day. Even if he forms a government, he will not be
4/ able to obtain immunity. It is just a matter of time before he is gone. #israelelections2019
