3/ It’s our old friend, palpable purpura! In general, purpuric rash has an important differential diagnosis to consider, which is summarized in this flowsheet from Access Medicine, Clinical Dermatology:
4/ Our palpable purpura turned out to be a case of leukocytoclastic vasculitis on biopsy caused by IgA vasculitis limited to the skin!
