3 years ago today Trump pitched the announcement of his inauguration committee (he hadn't yet established a real transition committee) as an "ethics reform plan."
Tom Barrack was the Chair.

He has spent much of the interim period under investigation, in part, for laundering foreign $$ to Trump.

Unclear what happened to that, tho there's a decent chance Manafort's plea deal lies saved him.

The Deputy Chair was not named.

That was Rick Gates, who would go on to admit maybe stealing a little dough from the inauguration trough.

He has spent the last 2.5 years trying to work his way out of prison time for money laundering and tax fraud.
Then there's Elliott Broidy.

Aside from admitting that Michael Cohen negotiated a hush payment for a woman with whom he was having an extramarital affair that he impregnated, Broidy is or was under investigation for some corruption that's not easy to summarize.
Mel Sembler's best corruption is actually Trump's. It's tied to George W Bush. He got rich off of running an abusive teen treatment center and W still appointed him Ambassador to a place climate change is making disappear. He also funded Scooter Libby's defense.
Gail Icahn was likely operating as a front for her spouse, who would have to resign from a Trump advisory position bc he tried to use the position to change a regulation that affected one of his businesses.

Then there's Steve Wynn, one of the more epic takedowns of the #MeToo movement. The GOP said they'd return all the $$ he raised but it's not clear they ever did.

I have no knowledge of crimes that Woody Johnson has committed, though he owns the NJ Jets, which is crime in and of itself, even ignoring the inexplicable hiring decisions. Jets seem to be doing better with him out of the country on an Ambassadorship he bought.
Most of the rest, I have no knowledge of criminal ties, though if I were an enterprising FBI Agent, I'd treat his as a nest of corruption. Just two questions I have.
First, how is it that Sheldon Adelson has always avoided any consequences for his graft, including accusations that he--like Trump--allowed his casinos to be used to launder money?

Oops. Here's his listing.
Finally, Mooch.

What's his gig, and why do we believe he has left The Dark Side.

And how did he get into this gallery of rogues to begin with?
In short I'm fairly confident an enterprising young investigative reporter could put together what this scam was from the start (please, steal my work!). It's CLEARLY about corruption. And Trump rolled it out when he was trying to run on #DrainTheSwamp.
Sorry: here's an archived version of that list.
