The economy is paralysed, main roads across the country and in Barcelona are blocked, as the Freedom marches arrive to the capital on the 5th day of protests against Spanish repression and for Catalan independence

- 60 flights canceled at BCN airport
- Barcelona and Tarragona ports blocked
- SEAT car production halted
- massive attendence at rallies and road blocks.
Police violence in the 5th day of unrest in Catalonia ended with 54 arrested and 19 in hospital, one of which in very serious condition, in worst night of riots in Catalonia. Two people have lost an eye, with police also in the spotlight.
3 years ago today, Spanish military police Guardia Civil searched a post office in Terrassa, confiscating census card letters for the Catalan Independence referendum.
The assault ended with police violence against the protesting neighbours.
