Potomac Square Group is a DC-based PR company set up in February by fmr WSJ reporter Chris Cooper.

A later disclosure: Potomac was specifically "to enlist Washington and US support for the Crown Prince of Bahrain's 'National Dialogue' initiative". sending emails and phone calls to American media outlets: CNN, NBC News, NYT, WaPo, WSJ, LA Times, National Times and the AP.
While murders of unarmed protesters are watched on YouTube, Bahrain hires a US PR team to spin events to their benefit.

Potomac's work for the Bahrain Embassy expired on March 17, 2011, without being renewed — days after Saudi troops entered to repress protests.
