Opinions please....I have been mostly using #feedbackNOTmarking for a while now but have not used a standardised sheet. Here is 1 I made by looking at many shared so far via the hashtag and @fdbkNOTmarking
What do you think? Too busy? Just about right?

@fdbkNOTmarking @MrsHumanities Also, I realise it is the Friday at the beginning/end of half term - I just had a massive urge to get this done today.
Happy Half Term all 😊
I'm already thinking I'll change 'Do Now Tasks' to 'Self Improvement Tasks'.

Right, I'm away to enjoy my Friday night with my first Bailey's of the year 🥃(🎄)

Google Classroom: I loved using GC and particularly forms for setting work during lockdown. I am now using it for all homework. So much easier to track and great results analysis. I also stick in a couple of questions at the end asking for kids to rate their understanding...
and interest/enjoyment of the topic so far. I put up resources I've used in lessons too. For KS4/5 I'm also recording all of their in class assignments on there with my feedback sheets for them to have access to.
So far the knowledge recall back in lessons is so much better...
than I have experienced in previous years. This style of homework is working so well - I can't believe we used to live without it.
Biggest negative is access for all. Luckily we are setting up HW clubs in bubbles for tech access after school 🙂

Bit annoyed today. I had been doing the register while the kids were working (just visually checking) but I've switched to a more formal start to the lesson this half term (in prep for September). I now do the register in silence for y7/8 and they have to respond good morning 1/
However, a few students are testing the boundaries by being silly and saying something to make the rest of the class laugh so I've had to give out a few (5) detentions across 22 lessons. My HoD and the head of Y7 have been listening to student complaints 2/
They have suggested that maybe I'm insisting on an expectation that cannot be met and perhaps I shouldn't do it.
It feels like those minority of complaints are being listened to over my attempt to start the lesson with high expectations
