Unlike @SenSanders, I've lived in countries that have universal health care.

Let me tell you some stories.

@SenSanders I broke my arm in Venezuela.

We had to go to Miami--THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA--because there wasn't a single Venezuelan orthopedic surgeon who could handle multiple compound fractures of the arm.
@SenSanders My brother got an ear infection in the UK.

He went through the National Health Service and ended up deaf, with the constant sound of a buzzer doorbell ringing.

Finally a friend called my father, who found a private doctor on Harley Street.
@SenSanders The doctor prescribed the right antibiotics, but my brother's ears were never the same again.

Another brother threw out his elbow in Norway playing baseball.

It was a six-month wait for X-rays.
@SenSanders My brother's arm began to atrophy, so we flew him to the UNITED STATES, where he got treatment in 24 hours.

My sister got appendicitis in Norway.

Her hospital bed was in the hallway.
@SenSanders My father had a nasal hemorrhage in Norway.

The Norwegian doctors couldn't stop it. They tried cauterization and then a balloon.

My father was in the hospital for two weeks. They didn't give him clean sheets or a clean gown the whole time.
@SenSanders The hospital was so dirty that my father got a sinus infection.

The Norwegian treatment was from the Dark Ages.

To drain his sinuses, they hammered a hollow needle through the bone of his skull.

No anesthesia.
@SenSanders When I lived in Japan, I saw the worst teeth on the planet.

A friend went to a Japanese dentist and left when she walked past a room and saw the dentist using a hammer and chisel on a screaming patient.
@SenSanders I got the worst food poisoning of my life in Japan.

The doctors gave me bizarre swamp water than INCREASED the diarrhea. Finally an 80-year-old Russian doctor at the International Clinic saved me.
@SenSanders In the Netherlands, my mother got pneumonia. After a week in the hospital, she was almost dead.

My father hired a private ambulance and Lear jet with flight nurses and flew her to the UNITED STATES, where she was treated the same day.
@SenSanders Let's ask @SenSanders if he knows the difference between "scoop and scoot" and "stay and play."

(Crickets.)

Scoop and scoot is how paramedics in the UNITED STATES operate: Get the patient to the hospital as quickly as possible.
@SenSanders Stay and play is the world of socialized medicine.

The paramedics try to stabilize you BEFORE they take you to the hospital.

Since it's not possible to drive a hospital around on wheels, stay and play has FAR WORSE OUTCOME than scoop and scoot.
@SenSanders Princess Dianna died because they worked on her for so long at the scene.

She would've lived if she'd had her car accident in the UNITED STATES.

Socialized medicine is designed to kill you so that money is saved.
@SenSanders A social is judged by the quality of its mercy.

The way we treat the very young and the very old is a statement on our morality.

Socialized medicine encourages the killing of the very young and the very old.

And there's ANOTHER aspect.
@SenSanders Socialized medicine allows depressed people to kill themselves under a doctor's supervision.

The world's greatest expert on anorexia is the Belgian psychiatrist Walter Vandereycken.
@SenSanders In 2012, a patient accused him of sexually abusing her.

An investigation showed that Vandereycken had been sleeping with his female patients for decades.

Before his accuser could testify, another psychiatrist euthanized her.
@SenSanders When Vandereycken's actions were exposed, the Belgian press used utterly inappropriate images of him, and the Belgian general public seemed indifferent.

Nobody had the guts to call him out as the monster he is.

They didn't want to JUDGE him.
@SenSanders Socialized medicine wrecks your moral compass.

Just look at all the Democrats who support socialized medicine.

I've lived under it. Trust me: YOU DON'T WANT IT.

Socialized medicine will abuse and then kill you.

Period.
