I’m a fan and I sometimes watch them in my free time.
There’s a very thin line between comedy and sexual harassment.
Let’s not make jokes out of women being harassed, being touched inappropriately or without their consent. Let’s do better.
I personally have no problem with them.
But we need to be careful what subtle message is being passed in some skits.
A skit that sends out the message that it is okay to harass women- as long as you can find a way to do it- is NOT a good message.
It’s not okay to harass women.
Wether as a skit or in real life.
It’s not a joke. And it’s not funny.
Some women have died because of this.
Actually, the fact that a movie contains a rape scene doesn’t justify any message or movie that seems to imply that rape and sexual harassment is okay.
This is not fakedeep.
These are serious issues actually.
Sadly that’s the message I can see in that skit. I love Sydney, he’s a great guy but I think this is going too far.
And it’s better to slow down a bit.
These are real issues.
Our roles as decent people in a sensible society should be how to help fix this malady.
Wether as doctors, comedian, politicians or whatever we are.
We shouldn’t add to the problem or worsen it. We should be part of the solution.
There are young naive people who may watch these skits and think sexual harassment is okay.
But it is NOT.
This skit in my opinion went too far.
I believe you may have good intentions but unfortunately the execution is lewd, indecent and unhealthy.
And I hope you find it in you to apply some of this admonition in future skits.
Note: Nobody would remember your good skits if one very terrible skit gets you blacklisted.
I wish you well, bro.
