Study history.

If you do, you'll see that millenarianism is cyclical and shared by all cultures.

Millenarianists create a timetable for the apocalyptic changing of the world.
And guess what?

Millenarists are always wrong.

Climate-change cultists are no different from cargo cultists.
Melanesians were the first cargo cultists.

During World War II, they saw things they didn't understand, such as aircraft.

The aircraft delivered bounty. Such as canned Spam.
So the people of Tanna in Vanuatu began to worship John Frum, a mythical American who promised them a perfect world if they cooperated.

In Pidgin, "'E look like you. 'E got white face. 'E tall man. 'E live 'long South America."
John Frum departed, but to lure him back, the people of Vanuatu make aircraft from plant material.

Greta would be proud.

Someday John Frum will return. The locals raise flags and have a non-violent "army" that marches ever February 15.

John Frum Day.
"He is our God. Our Jesus."
The only different between climate-change cultists and cargo cultists is that the latter don't see to force others to live by the rules of the cult.

In that sense, cargo cultists are more advanced than climate-change cultists.
In the end, the John Frum cult will survive, while the Greta Cult will die out.

Climate-change cultists have short attention spans.

In the meantime, laugh at them.

Here's how they see themselves.
But this is how they really are.
