Tri Service Exercise #TigerTriumph between @indiannavy and @USNavy
scheduled from 13 to 21 Nov 19.
Indian Naval Ships Jalashwa, Airavat & Sandhyak along with troops from 19 MADRAS and 7 GUARDS of Indian Army, & Indian Air Force Mi-17V5 helicopters will participate in the HADR Ex
Along with HADR exercise, a Rapid Action Medical Team (RAMT) would also be participating in the exercise.
The @USNavy would be represented by USS Germantown with troops from US 3rd Marine Division. The Exercise is aimed at developing interoperability for HADR operations.
Ex #TigerTriumph : The Harbour Phase is scheduled at Visakhapatnam (Vizag) from 13 to 16 Nov 19, followed by the Sea Phase, off the coast of Kakinada.
The Opening Ceremony along with a Joint Flag Parade will be held onboard INS Jalashwa on 14 Nov 19.
Exercise #TigerTriumph: The First of its kind Indo-US Tri services exercise, with focus on Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief (HADR) commenced onboard INS Jalashwa, at Vizag, on the Eastern seaboard from 13 Nov 2019, to conclude on 21 Nov 2019.

Ministry Of Defence yesterday signed contracts worth ₹ 2580 Crore for supply of Six Pinaka Regiments to the Artillery Regiments of Indian Army with Bharat Earth Movers Ltd, Tata Power Ltd. (TPCL) and Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
The Six Pinaka Regiments comprise 114 Launchers with Automated Gun Aiming & Positioning System (AGAPS) and 45 Command Posts to be procured from TPCL and L&T and 330 Vehicles to be procured from BEML.
These Six Pinaka Regiments will be operationalised along the Northern and Eastern Borders of India, further enhancing operational preparedness of the Armed Forces. The induction of Six Pinaka Regiments is planned to be completed by 2024.
