- no touts hanging around the airport to harass you
-shops just have one price (not one for locals and one for tourists)
- no night markets, everything shuts in the evening

Anyway, next time someone tells you Australia has a larrikin spirit because we were founded by convicts, have a think about the culture inside your average prison, and how relaxed they are about minor rules infractions
