What @sunandavashisht has accomplished today is no mean feat. 30 years since the worst genocide of independent India and this is the FIRST time that the story of Kashmiri Pandits has been put on the world stage. FIRST TIME. The path is long and painful, but Hindus will get there.
People ask idiotic questions like why do you care what the world thinks.

Its too painful for them to answer this quesrion, so I will.
The victims of Kashmiri Pandit genocide have lost everything. Everything. Their families, their homes, their safety, their sense of self. They have lost children. Those memories haunt generations.
All they have left is their pain and their voices. Sharing that is catharsis.
Seeing the world just go by their business as if nothing happened is too painful to endure. 30 YEARS HAVE PASSED. Not even many Indian governments wanted to acknowledge their pain and suffering. The world stayed silent. Ignored them as they became refugees overnight.
Even in the last Congressional smearing Rep. @BradSherman said, Kashmiri Pandits “LEFT”. LEFT. Left, as if they just packed their bags and decided to visit another state.

This denial is as like violating the victims and their truth all over again.

World owes KPs their truth.
Everyone from PDP/NC parties to @IlhanMN want to pretend that Kashmiri Hindus were not brutally raped & slaughtered in their homes because that sullies their neatly crafted fake narrative.

Today, they were made to listen. Listen to the truth of @sunandavashisht and ppl like her.
This is the first major step and the path is long but we have to walk it. Despite the pain and the setbacks. The world needs to recognize Kashmiri Hindu Genocide, Bangladeshi Hindu Genocide, Pakistani Hindu Genocide and countless other Hindu Genocides throughout our history.
We will never forget. We will speak our truth till our last breath. And so will our children and their children and their children and their children. We will not forget our temples that you razes or our women that you burned on stakes.

ICYMI @sunandavashisht’s speech: 1:11:34 onwards
