What @realDonaldTrump is exposing:
The sense of entitlement that politicians and government bureaucrats have.
They honestly believe that they have the RIGHT to rule over us.
It's because they know better.
Eric Fartwell said that Trump solicited a bribe by threatening to withhold aid to Ukraine.
He was reading from a script and doesn't know the definition of the term "bribe."
He's absolutely correct.
This is because my Twitter followers are not monolithic.
Politicians and government bureaucrats are all generic. Only a tiny handful stand out.
In a very real sense, his first campaign slogan could have been "Make America Great."
Our IDEALS have always been great.
LIVING UP TO THEM is where we fail.
But that's okay. We're not Trump.
He's changing EVERYTHING. Money laundering, for example. He's hit it incredibly hard.
After his second term, it may be completely gone.
Trump knew about all the piddly Obama holdovers. He used them to create bright and shiny things for leftists to watch.
Today's a good example.
"THE SWAMP AIN'T BEEN TOUCHED! TIME TO SET MY BUTT ON FIRE! AGAIN!"
There are multiple levels of obtuseness.
Leftists think Trump is an idiot who's going down.
Then there are the millions of other pundits and reporters and talking heads and fence sitters who have to try and make sense of a process that they'll never understand.
As you treat danger as a pure connection
As you throw away all misconceptions
Now the verses I've sang
Don't add much weight
To the story in my head
So I'm thinking I should go and write a punchline
Trump is fixing EVERYTHING. He's fooling everybody. Mercilessly taking advantage of the need to scrutinize all the niggling fragments.
As you scrutinize, you miss the real story.
He tricked them into openly stating that they have the right to stomp on our faces and disobey the commander in chief.
MY FOLLOWERS GET IT.
Stephen Crane has a poem for all occasions. He didn't title his poems.
