Haha, stuff I predicted in 2013.

All y'all telling me that the Social Justice people are already religious (without believing in God), I know, fam. I kinda wrote the (almost) book on it.

Also entertainingly, because everyone lost their minds and forgot everything that happened before 2015, there was a rather motivated and successful anti-Tea-Party movement called "the Christian Left." It was mostly left-leaning Catholics and Episcopals, IIRC, and very active.
And on stuff everyone forgot in 2015, I'm 100% with anyone, including conservatives, who want to put a stop to critical race Theory's habit of writing revisionist history (cf. 1619 Project), but let's not forget that the right bears similar sins. Google David Barton. LOL.
The habit of revising history in service to some broadly theoretic lens (theological, critical, idealist, etc.) is one common to all sufficiently motivated ideologues. Right now, the critical "Social Justice" Left might be the most obviously motivated in the effort.
Of course, the only reason the 1619 Project is being paid any "serious" attention, instead of rightly being criticized methodologically off the historical floor, is because it has massive amounts of money and the institutional weight of the NYT behind it. That's the ball to watch
While I've got you on the 1619 Project, here's a nice* essay about it from the World Socialist Web Site -- they're not fans of this identity-politics variation of critical theory either (hence, probably not great to conflate ID politics with Marxism).

*I don't agree with the Socialists' analysis of what Robert Sapolsky has written and said, but otherwise, I found the essay illuminating.
