The inconvenient truth is that being certain ways produces certain outcomes, especially in this context in terms of who and how many people will be attracted to you, and in what ways. Issues arise from mismatches here, but that's just the way it is.
My usual things are freedom and authenticity. You should be you. Not much else will work, but "you" isn't static, so you can change it or grow, within limits. Be who you are with a mind toward what you want to be, get, and achieve. If you're inauthentic, you'll get a bad result.
That said, if you want to attract the kind of man who likes Stepford-style wives in the OP, bend toward that if you can. If you want to be the kind of guy who attracts strong, independent women, figure out what they like and bend yourself that way if you can.
Now, don't be an entitled fool. If you want to attract people of type X but want to be a person people of type X aren't really interested in, and you get mad about that, that's on you, not them, not the system, not the world, not other people.
You're not a blank slate, and you can only bend yourself so far. Your goal should be to try to figure out both who you are and what you want and try to optimize whatever works between those things. You probably won't get anything you want by being bitter, and bitter isn't you.
