"Social Justice" term of the week: "adult-centric," meaning an unfair biasing of the opinions and views of adults as opposed to children.
"I've learned more from my students then they learned from me!"

This conflates two types of learning, and it's a confusion-based, utterly irresponsible attitude of false humility in a classroom environment.
The way the "adult-centric" view works is this: from the perspective of Theory, the oppressed always have special insight into the world due to their relationship with the overarching systemic power dynamics that influence everything, especially knowledges and power.
Making "adult-centrism" a problematic is another way of saying, in Theory-ese, that there is a systemic power dynamic in our society that (unjustly) privileges adults and their perspectives while marginalizing, oppressing, and excluding children and their perspectives.
