Here's a gun statistic nobody will tell you.
The Mexican gun homicide rate compared to the American.
The US has a population of 327.2 million.
In 2018, there were 12,830 gun homicides in the US.
People that it's our fault, because the guns come from the US.
Think about that.
AMERICANS can handle gun ownership, as evidenced by our FAR LOWER gun homicide rate.
Also, up to 80 percent of American homicide victims knew their killer.
You think that's true in Mexico?
And that's because it's illegal to treat or institutionalize the severely mentally ill.
Think about it:
A country 40 percent our size has twice the gun violence, AND they use the guns WE use.
Proponents of strict gun laws are saying that people can't be trusted with guns.
Even if we accept that notion, the US shows that it's not true.
We CAN be trusted with guns.
It's really not the guns.
It's the people.
