The takedown happened after the group did a series of watch parties about the Philippines' hosting of #SEAGames2019. The founder suspected that it was mass reported by trolls and Facebook accounts supportive of Duterte.
Before the takedown, 'Narinig ko sa UP' was a group of more than 200,000 members – including alumni, students, professors, and incoming students of the premier university.
After more than 24 hours, Facebook reactivates the 'Narinig ko sa UP' group on Monday, December 2.
