Does anyone else find it weird that the situation in XinJiang has not been addressed yet by any western political leaders? Not expecting leaders to want to go to war over it, by why has there been such widespread silence?
For all the talk of “red lines” in Syria or Iran, where is the “red line” in China? Is there one? What’s the deal here?
What about just saying “if you are Uighur, you can have asylum here” like the Australian PM said to Chinese students after Tiananmen Square? Or is offering asylum considered too inflammatory?
Looks like I spoke too soon: the UIGHUR Act has just been passed in US Congress with overwhelming bipartisan support
