This’ll be fun, Boris Johnson makes a “sacred” pledge.
Let’s have a look then. /thread
1. >> "Drive the withdrawal agreement through Parliament..." - this was already voted through to second reading, BoJo pulled it himself.

>> "get Brexit done..." - negotiations will take years, it will take a decade to be "done".
>> "by January 31st"... or was it March 29th, Apr 12th or Oct 31st?…
2. >>"February Budget to give £85 tax cut to 31m workers..." That's £1.63 a week, or a loaf of bread a week.
Welcome but "sacred"?
>> "Freeze fuel duty for 37m drivers" - fuel duty has been frozen for nine years, awaiting true love's kiss. No? I haven't seen the movie tbh.
3. "New NHS Long-term funding Act to legally guarantee extra £33.9bn a year by 2023".

Again welcome, but that figure isn't adjusted for inflation, so wording will be really important. It's actually £20.5bn, which would mean 3.4% increase a year, which is below average.
4. "Change the law to end automatic release of serious violent and sexual offenders at halfway point."
a) The Coalition govt already scrapped IPPs in 2012, Usman Khan was not given an automatic release sentence "because of the law", it was a choice
c) The law has ALREADY changed in 2015, and terrorists are not given automatic release anymore.
via @BarristerSecret :…
d) both the Coalition govt up to 2013 and the current govt have had ample time to change this.
@BarristerSecret 5. >>"Introduce Australian-style points-based immigration system" - the fine detail is:
a) Australia don't ask for a job offer before coming
b) Australia has TWICE the migrant pop. per head vs UK
c) The average UK migrant is ALREADY younger, and better educated than native pop.
6. >>"Extra funding to give schools at least £5k per secondary pupil and £4k per primary pupil"

Is this a mistake? At least in England that's LOWER than it is NOW. Is this a planned CUT? I am confused. "Sacredly" confused.
7. "Change the law to increase the amount migrants pay to use our NHS"
-We have reciprocal health agreements with EEA + 17 other countries already
-'Health tourism" costs between £100m-£300m/year
-The Overseas Surcharge ALREADY raises £500m a year, up to £1bn by 2020.
8. "Cross-party talks to find long-term solution to social care crisis".

If this is a "sacred pledge" then the last time I took the bins out it was a Holy Crusade.

What even is this?
Govt: "We'll have a chat. What do you think we are? In charge?"
9. "Strike deal with mobile phone operators to improve service in the countryside."
-Like, nationalisation?
-I personally would like to keep my mobile phone deal abroad, like in the EU. Is that in there too?
-I like how it says "improve", like one extra bar and you're like YUP.
10. "Biggest review of defence, security and foreign policy since end of the Cold War."

Apart from defence spending as a %GDP has fallen since 2010.

Is there another reason?
A report perhaps? A #RussiaReport is you will?
So in summary:
1) Some incompetent lies
2) A loaf of bread
3) Some more lies
4) Some appalling electioneering, plus lies
5) Ozzy lies
6) A straight up f**up
7) NHS lies
8) Some bollocks
9) Cows on mobiles
10) Russia, lies.
