If Aadhaar card now 2B proof enough of citizenship --if ANI report is accurate--why were @AmitShah @narendramodi even talking of an NRC across India since all those resident here have Aadhaar? In fact Aadhaar was always meant 2b proof of identity, not citizenship

The @PIB_India has now issued the same statement that says Aadhaar will likely be accepted for NRC! But since most residents have an Aadhaar anyway,how will @AmitShah use NRC to identify illegal immigrants?

Now that Supreme Court will suspend @narendramodi farm laws till a panel it sets up decides the way forward, what are other laws -- including tax ones -- we can get suspended?
Just keep in mind that, to be successful, we need to b able to gherao capital, so need tractors, etc
If agitating Punjab farmers don't go back home once SC suspends @narendramodi farm laws,will SC ask its police to force them out of Delhi? Oh wait, SC doesn't have its own police force!
& if farmers or govt don't agree to panel reccos? Will India be run by SC's panels now?

Apart from fact that late @arunjaitley had said court/arbitration awards would be respected as solutions to the @INCIndia retro-tax, Cairn case was examined by govt on many occasions prior to late #PranabMukherjee's retro tax, and issue of tax dues never raised Image
Delhi HC ruled against this last year,but taxman said Swiss firm Xstrata’s arbitration award against Dalmia Bharat was a 'windfall gain', as in lotteries, betting etc Was taxman admitting enforcing arbitration awards in India is a matter of luck, a lottery? Image

Confirms India has no respect for global arbitration & that contracts have ZERO sanctity @narendramodi

MASSIVE WIN for @CairnEnergy though the markets seem to be confusing this with @CairnOilandGas which is a @VedantaLimited firm and had bought CairnEnergy's India business
Now to see if @narendramodi govt will pay $1.2bn damages
