Legal jargon note: lawyers say they'll "prosecute the case" about any affirmative trial presentation, not just criminal. Other side "defends" case. Rudy is making perfect sense here.
Also, classic tactic of defense is to "put the plaintiff (or key witness) ON TRIAL. The object isn't to change fact narrative, it's to poison the jury so they hate/disregard. Voters are the jury. Key witness is Joe Biden.
When Rudy says "prosecute like a RICO case" he means he'd show the connections and tie all to bad acts. For Biden, this would be a giant smear by association. Truth not relevant.
Rudy has already presented false affidavits and false documents from Ukranians. (The actually corrupt, now lying Ukranians). He's had months and firtash's open check book to build this case. China probably helping too.
Riddle this. Is Trump dangling a pardon to Firtash to get him to pay for Giuliani? (Spoiler alert - of course he is).
So I promised to be rosier than darkerer, so here's your rosy moment: Pelosi figured this all out months ago and the lame R effort to pressure her to forward the articles isn't working.
Pelosi and Schumer are working hand in hand to assure that the rules of a trial don't allow for Giuliani's anti Biden prosecution. The article's aren't going anywhere until that's done. Three cheers for the republic.
Meanwhile the courts are slowly rejecting all the other witnesses defenses. So we can start with new hearings in the house in a few weeks. Buckle up.
