At the Scholarship fundraiser last year that almost turned out to be a stampede, organizers couldn't control the crowd and Jagora had to do it himself. He made efforts to clear the stage and he began the welcome address

With all that energy, passion and "Ina Matasa" chants, RMK's remarks reached climax and from the crowd a visibly excited, elated young man roared "Idan mun tara ma kudin ka sayi jirgi" and another yelled "Idan mun tara kudin ka qona su Jagora"

"After our donations use it to buy an airplane" and "burn the donated funds if you so wish our leader" are the loose translations of those comments. One might say it's fanatic but it's not.

It was obviously in response to people who politicized the whole Scholarship Programme. Those who said Jagora was merely getting the donations for himself. Those who found it impossible for a private individual to sponsor 370 students on a scholarship abroad.

And here we are today. Donations came. Admissions were secured. All expenses paid. And 370 Kano Indigenes are there studying. Those results up there are two out of many. How can you love Nigeria and hate @KwankwasoRM for God sake?
