I always emphasise on adhibhautika adhidaivik and adhyātmika. Because it essential to understand this trichotomy.

The three offshoots of sānkhya Darshana - āyurvèda-jyotisha-yoga deals with kinetics and dynamics of these three realities we exist in simultaneously.
Jyotisha doesn’t deal with material world. All predictions etc actually mostly predict how the mind-buddhi-chitta-ahankāra of the person will becomes when good or bad times come.
I have experienced that it in how my way of thinking, behaving and exuding those emotions/vibrations/behaviour changed when my one mahadasha ended. I started thinking differently- became receptive to different thoughts which led to me to take a totally different path in life.
So all jyotish and planets and their combinations and transits (including sudden accidents but excluding congenital defects and illnesses) acts only on and through the mind.
Remember we r talking about how one’s manas-buddhi-chitta-ahankāra are going to behave here. Body behaves as a result of it. Not completely on its own

But body has its own program too. That program cannot be read by a shāstra meant for antahkaraNa (Manas-buddhi-chitra-ahankāra)
If one makes a conscious decision to embark on adhyātmik journey, then even jyotisha starts to fail.

Because as one progresses one would start controlling the reception and transmission of all that goes in and out of four-fold antahkaraNa (mana-buddhi-chitra-ahankāra).
If one’s behaviour is reflection of how positive and negative one is thinking, and if one can begin controlling that positive and negative thoughts and mental energies at will, jyotish starts failing.

That is where yoga comes in.
But even yoga cannot completely overrule the basic source code of body

See. Nothing stopped ashTāvakra from being a brahma-Rishi. But I am sure it must be hell of a lot uncomfortable for him while sitting for his daily sādhanā with his 8 Deformities than say a fit vishvāmitra
It doesn’t matter to his brahmagyaani status. But with his enlightened status and all his siddhis too, he cannot override the basic programming of the body that happened during the moment of his conception.
So one has to understand how these three states of reality affect us and our lives (on all three planes).

There are immense possibilities but there are also limitations.

Yes there are some instances when chronic body ailments and deformities are cured using non-bhautik means.
Like krishna cured the hump of that hunchback woman in Mathura.

But what are the odds really of that happening? And even then krishna didn’t cure all hunchbacks living then. Just that one person.
So instead on relying on physical deliverance from physical pains by Ishwara, acceptance and karma and taking responsibility of one’s karma helps a lot.
