I always emphasise on adhibhautika adhidaivik and adhyātmika. Because it essential to understand this trichotomy.
The three offshoots of sānkhya Darshana - āyurvèda-jyotisha-yoga deals with kinetics and dynamics of these three realities we exist in simultaneously.
But body has its own program too. That program cannot be read by a shāstra meant for antahkaraNa (Manas-buddhi-chitra-ahankāra)
Because as one progresses one would start controlling the reception and transmission of all that goes in and out of four-fold antahkaraNa (mana-buddhi-chitra-ahankāra).
That is where yoga comes in.
See. Nothing stopped ashTāvakra from being a brahma-Rishi. But I am sure it must be hell of a lot uncomfortable for him while sitting for his daily sādhanā with his 8 Deformities than say a fit vishvāmitra
There are immense possibilities but there are also limitations.
Yes there are some instances when chronic body ailments and deformities are cured using non-bhautik means.
But what are the odds really of that happening? And even then krishna didn’t cure all hunchbacks living then. Just that one person.
